I believe you Jegan, but who say's it the fault of LibreOffice :)
maybe it's MS Word that cannot import correctly elements from LibO Calc
@Jegan - We need more information from you. Please do the following: 1. Provide information about your OS 2. Provide information about your version of LibreOffice 3. Let us know if this is a regression (did it work in the past) 4. Attach a spreadsheet document that you can't copy/paste to word with the border 5. Version of Microsoft Office Marking as NEEDINFO - once you provide all of this please set to UNCONFIRMED. FWIW - I just did a simple test and it worked fine, borders were maintained.
