The file on which the problem occurs

Libreoffice Impress crashes on displaying a slide (the 30th slide on the attached presentation). It crashes also when saving or exporting to pdf. Recovery does not fix the problem. The file has become unusable.

tested under Win7x64 using LO 4.2.5.3
no crash viewing test file
no crash saving the file
no crash exporting the file to pdf

you are using an obsolete version of LibO (4.1.3.2)
upgrade to 4.2.5.2

I set status to RESOLVED WORKSFORME
feel free to reopen if you still reproduce the bug after upgrading

I was using version 4.1.3.2 because it is shipped with the Linux distribution I am currently using, the latest Linux Mint Debian Edition.

I uninstalled it and installed the 4.2.5 version which I downloaded from libreoffice.org and then I was able to open the file with no problems.
