brief monthly financial report

Just updated to LibreOffice 4.2.5.2 running under Mac OS X version 10.9.3. Created new spreadsheet with contents obtained by link to external data (HTML). Unable to save. First attempt: change destination directory. Second attempt: rename file. Third attempt: tried to save without changing name or destination directory. All caused LibreOffice to crash. Older version of LibreOffice had no trouble with what I was trying to do. The external file I linked to is attached.

The problem may be related to the link to external data. I made a copy of another LibreOffice spreadsheet and opened it in LibreOffice. I made a change and saved the file with no problem. I closed the file and then reopened it from disk, and the change was there.

I do not see any crash with LibO 4.2.5.2 under Win7x64
MacOS specific issue?
Comment 3 Alex Thurgood 2014-10-06 16:52:16 UTC
Works for me on LO 4322.
Open Calc
Insert Link to External data
Select HTML_1 as sheet range
Save

Please explain what it is your are doing differently, if anything.

No feedback since 6 months, let's put this one to WFM.

Matthew: don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you can reproduce this with recent LO version (4.4.2 or at least 4.3.6) + provide additional information (see https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81439#c3)
