Regression from previous version: activating non printable charaters button doesn't show them any more.
Comment 1 Paolo Benvenuto 2014-07-23 08:18:35 UTC
confirmed in 4.2.5.2

Don’t “confirm” your own bugs.

What operating system do you use?
Comment 3 Paolo Benvenuto 2014-07-24 20:09:51 UTC
ubuntu linux

Thanks. Now, do you use the official TDF packages (downloaded manually from libreoffice.org) or the native, preinstalled packages from the Ubuntu archive?

I can’t reproduce the faulty behavior in 4.3.0.2 from the prereleases PPA, BTW.
Comment 5 Paolo Benvenuto 2014-07-25 05:18:53 UTC
ubuntu packages, either from ubuntu archives and ppa:libreoffice/ppa

NO REPRO on Ubuntu 12.04.4 + LO 4.3.0.3

1) Please test on 4.3.0.3 version (or later) downloaded from TDF:
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/4.3.0.3/deb/x86_64/

2) If you do see the problem, please attach a screenshot

I have two libreoffice installations on two pc with same os and release and same libreoffice 4.3

One libreoffice behaves well with non printable characters, the other doesn't.

So I'd say that it's not libreoffice, but something I have/haven't installed.

What could I look for? I already purged all libreoffice* packages and reinstalled them, nothing changed.

solved, I had to go and check the appearance of various characters in tools - options

Tomb Rider is extraordinary redirection anyway what I feel about this diversion is that its missions are very difficult to wrap up. Get casino memes by clicking https://casinosapproved.info/casino-memes/ link. I tried multiple times on its first strategic didn't succeed.
