Problem description: LibreOffice will become unresponding, I waited 1/2 hour before I terminated the process. Problem is limited to Conditional Formatting, no problem when paste cell contents or formatting. Steps to reproduce: 1. From Start Screen open empty new Calc Document 2. click cell A1 so that cell cursor is at A1 3. Apply conditional formatting to cell A1 by menu {Format ► Conditional Formatting ► Condition 1: "Cell Value is" ► "Equal to": type "1" ► Apply Style "Result" ► Add} Dialog will disappear 4. <cntrl+c> for "Copy" (cell cursor still is on A1) 5. Click Column Heading "A" to select all column 6. menu {Edit ► Paste Special ► All Checkboxes unchecked except "Formatting" ► OK} Current behavior: LibreOffice will become unresponding Expected behavior: Conditional Formatting applied to all cells within very few seconds. This is a rather annoying problem because I often want to apply a Conditional Formatting to a complete column. The problem is not limited to that special condition or other special conditions, the hang always comes up when I paste conditional formatting to very many cells like a complete column. Not a problem with paste contents or formatting to all cells of a column, that always is done after few (2-4) seconds. My suspect is that LibreOffice does not really hang, but paste Conditional Formatting works so slowly that the operation takes too long for normal work. AOO does the job within a second, so the problem might be related to the advanced LibreOffice Conditional Formatting capabilities? Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.2.5.2 release
