3-page trimmed verison of the RTF

I downloaded < http://download.microsoft.com/documents/rus/microsoft4you/How_to_license_the_operating_system_Windows_8_new.docx > and opened it in Word 2013 and saved it as an rtf file. Then when opening the file in LibO 4.3.1 and the style of the numbering entry on page 2 is not retained. This also effects 4.2.7 and master.

Steps:
1) open attached RTF file
2) scroll to page 2
3) the number '1' on the first line should be purple, Segoe UI and 18pt

The example file in Word and Writer master

Still not perfect in:

Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 3b48e20b0101584a5e7ef48ba82238e735f0772b
CPU threads: 13; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: hu-HU (hu_HU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Font color is Automatic instead of purple and gets Bold format which was not set originally.
Font name and size are correct now.

This got better in 7.5 with:

https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/cb0e1b52d68aa6d5b505f91cb4ce577f7f3b2a8f

committer	Miklos Vajna <vmiklos@collabora.com>	Thu Oct 20 17:02:04 2022 +0200

sw, numbering portion format: consider full-para char formats as well

which is strange, since it's not directly related to RTF.

Still: in the following paragraphs the triangle bullets are still not purple in:

Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 2eb428a8890dda29fbdc8b639fc1377080fab59f
CPU threads: 15; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: hu-HU (hu_HU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Let's refocus on that.

Dear Yousuf Philips (jay) (retired),

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team
