Problem description: headings of level 3 are written in gray instead of black Steps to reproduce: 1. enter text 2. ctrl+3 to turn it into a level 3 heading Current behavior: text is gray Expected behavior: text should be black like default for all other text Operating System: Ubuntu Version: 4.2.4.2 release
Hello Holger, I can confirm that level 3 headings are gray in 4.2.5 and 4.3.1, while they are black in 4.1.6, but it is possible that this was changed intentionally. I will see what another QA member thinks of this issue.
Hi, a new default template has been introduced and level 3 and 4 are gray. If you want to have these levels in black, open the Style and formatting dialog (F11), right click on level 3 and chose Modify. In the dialog, change the color of the font. If you want to have that for all your documents, save the document as a template and set this template to be the default. Closing as notabug. Sophie
Introducing such an ugly default template was a very bad idea. I shall file a request do undo this. Please DON'T change (default) formatting without a specific reason!

There were a lot of discussions in the Design list about a new default template. http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Default-Writer-Template-td4076271.html http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Default-LO-Style-td4061081.html
