Working on a large document and ended session by saving at some internal location and closing document. Document reopens at very beginning not at last saved location.

@Jerry - please attach a sample document and let us know what specific Windows version you're using. Marking as NEEDINFO, once you do the above set to UNCONFIRMED.

Keep in mind that QA has thousands of bugs to deal with, the easier the steps you provide the better and attaching a sample document is ALWAYS a good idea. If it's confidential, replace characters with X's and then submit the document. Thanks for your understanding.
