The Field Separator option in the Text Import dialogue uses checkboxes, not radio buttons, to select the Field Separator. This should be replaced with either radio buttons or a dropdown select as in practice a CSV file will not use multiple Field Separators, and many people (i.e. just about everybody in my office) seem to have trouble selecting only a single one.
It is not 'CSV' import dialog: it is a parse dialog for text data of _arbitrary_ format.
Hi, the ability to select several separators is a needed feature. Depending on the tool that extract the datas, there could be several different separators. Best is to teach your users to know what kind of separators is used in your companies. Closing as invalid - Sophie
Might I suggest that closing as invalid be reconsidered. This is a valid issue: I have seen _many_ technically-competent people have a hard time with this. Perhaps when the .csv fileending is used then LibreOffice should limit the abilities of the import to just those features actually supported by CSV, such as a single Field Separator.
