Created attachment 105042 [details] snapshot of desktop with LibreOffice open I just installed LibreOffice 4.3.0.4 over 4.2.4.0. All the icons in my toolbars are gone replaced by text only. This is so even though Tools > Customize > Toolbars tab with Toolbar dropdown on right indicates "Icons only". I tried all options there. When I select "Icons and Text" the text seems to move to the right a tiny amount but still no icons.

Hi Richard, What is your distro, and how did you install LO (downloaded from libreoffice.org, installed from a PPA etc.)?
I am running Linux Mint v17 Qiana 32-bit KDE with kernel 3.14.0. I created a ppa: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu trusty main I am traveling and this problem is on my 32-bit laptop. I am reasonably sure that using the same PPA I installed the same LibreOffice 4.3.0.4 on my main desktop at home, which is the same version of Linux Mint, but the 64-bit version.
I forgot to mention: on my home PC LibreOffice is working correctly (i.e. icons are visible!).
Maybe you just missing the 'libreoffice-style-oxygen' package (or any other libreoffice-style-* package in case you're using different icon theme)?
Stupid me!!!!!!!!!!!!! Installing libreoffice-style-oxygen solved the problem. Sorry to waste your time!
