Created attachment 105735 [details] Screenshot that shows the context menue, where the option should be added Problem description: If you click on a certain heading in the navigator, you can already drag and drop a heading to the writer document. Currently there are three different drag-modes (Hyperlink, Reference, Copy). It would be great to have the fourth option "cross-reference", which is usually used via menu->insert-> cross-reference. The navigator could easily be used to insert the number of the paragraph. Operating System: All Version: 4.3.1.2 release
(In reply to comment #0) > Currently there are three different drag-modes (Hyperlink, Reference, Copy). > It would be great to have the fourth option "cross-reference" I agree. Note however that currently these are the key-modified options: - Drag: Hyperlink - Drag+SHIFT: Copy (section) - Drag+CNTL+SHIFT: Link (linked/protected section) The button option in Navigator may need an associated key-modified option (e.g., Drag+CNTL) for the cross-reference method. Drag+CNTL does change the mouse icon (adds a plus), but it still seems to insert the same XML as that for an unmodified drag. It is easier to use key-modified gestures than have to change an option. Status set to NEW.
