Created attachment 106359 [details] Document with section on first line It seems that the header of a document is not correctly exported in to the docx format if a section is entered at the first line of the document. Steps to reproduce: - Create a new document in LibreOffice - Insert a section on the first line - Create a header for the document - Save the document as docx (Microsoft Word 2007/2010/2013 XML) - Reopen the document in MS Word results in a missing header - Reopen the document in LibreOffice results in a missing header and a second page

(In reply to comment #0) > - Reopen the document in LibreOffice results in a missing header and a > second page Reproducible. There is indeed no header in the docx (checked with Word for Mac 2011). I'm not sure about your 'second page' (I can't see one in your attached ODT file either). Tested using Mac OSX 10.9 with LibreOffice Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 5b8ea53ac7cc8843ada7a1e02edea1b522f0ef0a TinderBox: MacOSX-10.9-x86_64@53, Branch:master, Time: 2014-09-21_10:59:37
Just downloaded the 'Exported docx document with section on first line' and opened with LibreOffice (mac) again. The document shows two pages.

I have retested it with Version: 5.0.1.2 Build ID: 81898c9f5c0d43f3473ba111d7b351050be20261 Locale: es-ES (es_ES) and I can no longer reproduce the missing header problem. However, the second page problem is still present. I'll change the summary acordently
** Please read this message in its entirety before responding ** To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to "inherited from OOo"; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add "regression" to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! First, with 4.3. there was a missing header and a second page. Then, with 5.0 and 5.2.3 only a second page (and typing in body was done on 2nd page). Now, with 5.3b2 and 5.4+ header is there and no second page, but there's another issue, I don't know whether that's a problem: you can't type in the document body, just in this table, frame, what is this? Anyway, for the sake of efficiency I'll close this as WFM. Second page must be some other bug. If you disagree, feel free to reopen. In that case, bibisect my reveal the change and this would be some special case, I guess.
Telesto, I don't see the point in adding this to some "DOCX-BUGS" when there was "filter:docx". But please retest bugs instead. Thank you for understanding.
