ms office open file screen

Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. ms excel 2000 Save >
4. 使用Libreoffice open file

Current behavior:

Expected behavior:

Operating System: Windows XP的中
Version: 4.3.1.2 release

Hi s85b1023,

Report has to be written in English to be understandable by everyone. Can you translate it?
Comment 2 Jacques Guilleron 2014-09-23 13:50:09 UTC
Sorry, my e-mail was gone quick a little.
I understood that you cannot, with LibreOffice, write modifications into a document with lecture only attrinbute. Is this correct?

regards,

Jacques

---------
Translation:

Problem description:
When you save a file in ms excel 2010, on the file save dialog there is "Tools -> General Option -> Suggest Read Only" option (translated). When this option is enabled when you save a file, next time when you open this file with ms excel there will be a dialog pops up asking you whether you want to open the file read-only or edit the file.
But when you open such a file (the file saved with "Suggest Read Only" option enabled) in LibreOffice, it's only possible to open read-only, no way to edit the file in LibreOffice.

Steps to reproduce:
1. In ms excel 2010, Save > Tools > General Options, enable "Suggest Read Only.
2. Open the saved file with ms excel 2000 open file
3. A dialog pops up (to let you decide whether you want to open in read-only mode), select "no" so you can edit the file.
4. Open the saved file with Libreoffice.
5. The file is open read-only in LibreOffice, you can not edit it.

----------
I reproduce with LibreOffice version 4.3.3.1, set to NEW.

When unzip the attached test xlsx file, I see the following:

docProps\app.xml:

See here:

Hi all.. I think we can edit/modify the file by clicking "Edit File" icon, then saving the file also allowed. Though we're still missing pop up dialog box as shown in Excel.
