FILESAVE: Open existing .odt document. Then perform Save AS to .doc or .rtf or anything other than .odt Right after the Save As is executed, the app quits. Every time. Document saves normally if kept as .odt MacbookPro Mt. Lion 10.8.5
Hi tuckfoot, Thank you for filing the bug. Please let us know which version of libreoffice you are running and if you could provide us with a sample document so we can confirm this issue, as we have tested this issue on our .odt files and couldnt reproduce it.
Created attachment 107027 [details] crash report Send to my email by bug reporter. -------------- Hi Jay, Thanks for pursuing this bug. The version is LibreOffice 4312. A Crash Report is attached. WAIT! I just had a breakthrough!! If I set LO 4312 Preferences to Always Save as ODT, then open an existing ODT and try to Save it AS a .doc, then a warning comes up. See attached pic. In that warning, if I click on the non-ODT save option, the save is done, but within 10 seconds the app quits. However, if I have LO prefs set to Always Save As DOC, then saving an open ODT as a DOC does NOT quit. Is this helpful??? Thanks.
Thanks tuckfoot for the crash log and the additional information. I have passed on this issue to our mac team to try and see what the problem is.
Hi tuckfoot, Do you have "Dragon Dictate" installed? Or any other application that interfaces with or modifies other installed applications in an unusual way? (based on the backtrace, this may be related to bug 80756)
