problem file

The docx seems created in office 2010. It edited in word 2007 by me now (removed few our info).
In LibreOffice 4.3.1 I see only few words from original document.

Hi ungifted,

Like you, I opened this file with only few words with
LO 4.3.2.1 Build ID: f9b3ad49d92181b0a1fe7e76f785a2c2cd0847d3,
LO 4.3.2.2 Build ID: edfb5295ba211bd31ad47d0bad0118690f76407d.

With LO 4.4.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 5aeb852efcabdd51545d5d41c92f4bf3cef1d663, this file crash LO after displyaing the message I join in attachment.

I open correctly this file with LO 4.2.5.1
Build ID: 881bb88abfe2992c6cede97c23e64a9885de87de
and LO 4.2.7.0.0+ Build ID: 92216be6ce13990b8ea6b6264c656d2bc1746401
TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:libreoffice-4-2, Time: 2014-07-14_16:21:42
& Windows 7 Home Premium.

I set status to NEW, add regression to Keywords.

Regards,

Jacques

Is LibreOffice can't import fields from docx? I will attach next screen from word 2007.

4.4.0beta1 seems much better.

But:

Few formatting issues.
Imported fields work even better then native :) Drop down menus instead windows.
All fields "readonly" :(
Checkboxes can't be switched :(

4.4 still cant import MS Office fields into native.
Comment 7 Matthew Francis 2014-12-03 16:11:59 UTC
ungifted: Could you explain what you mean by 'All fields "readonly" :('? I don't see that

On 4.4.0beta1 and current 4.5 master, as far as I can tell everything works except the checkboxes, which have never worked for this document in any previous version. Any previous crash appears to have been resolved, and overall it now seems to work at least as well as it ever has before.

Unless there is some other specific behaviour which has regressed, I think we can remove Whiteboard:bibisectRequest at this point.

'bibisectRequest' has been removed, so I'm assuming this is no longer a regression.

Keywords -> (removing) regression

Conform comment #2 it's clearly a regression.

Okay, re-adding bibisectRequest to the Whiteboard. If it's a Win-only bug, we can reconsider.

set as WorksForMe
If not OK, please explain (such as "all fields are read only".. ? ) and reopen. Thanks!
