Problem description: Copying multip cells can not be made to current sheet , however it can be made to another sheet. Steps to reproduce: 1. Have a sheet with lots of data which has duplicates in a column. 2. Use standart filter, set all criteria as none, click no duplicates. 3. Select all the visible cells, copy , go to an empty column, try to paste. Current behavior: You will have error , "insert into multiple selection not possible." if you paste to current sheet. No error when pasting to another sheet. Expected behavior: The data in clipboard should be pasted into any sheet, current or not. Operating System: Windows XP Version: 4.3.1.2 release
Confirmed on OSX / LO 4.3.2.2 The described sequence of actions causes some rows to be hidden, but manually hiding rows instead of filtering doesn't have the same effect, so something else is going on here. => Platform: All => NEW

LO 5.2.7;LO 6.0 and earlier OS:Win 7 You will have error , "insert into multiple selection not possible." if you paste selected cells to cells where some cells are hidden by filter. But if you skip hidden rows you can paste it to current sheet. Also when select all filtered column it can be pasted no matter if hidden rows exists. Why not just check option copy results to, instead copy filtered cells?
1. Simple values to fill single column with label and row values: label A B C A B D A (try with and without this value) 2. Use standard filter, select values A / alternatively values C and D 3. Select filtered cells and copy 4. Go to an empty column from first to last visible row, try to paste (In reply to Burak Ural from comment #0) > Current behavior: > No error when pasting to another sheet. Because values are pasted consecutively. That's not a justification to have the same on the original sheet. > You will have error "insert into multiple selection not possible." if you > paste to current sheet. Sometimes. > Expected behavior: > The data in clipboard should be pasted into any sheet, current or not. Can't agree. MSO has somewhat different behavior but also doesn't always do it. I can't consistently say this is wrong behavior. Or not. If this error message is correct it would be useful to put some Help button there and write help, I couldn't find it. What I notice we lack documentation for new features. Look old Bug 38822, where is that behavior in help?
Now it seems to be fixed. No more error message "insert into multiple selection not possible." where some cells are hidden by filter.
