For the test, could you rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows) and give it a new try?

I guess the problem is on the OfficeOxygen extension side.

So it seems you must give a look to their support.

It worked when I rename the folder. Then I do not get any error msg. Though I would say it really hard to see if it actually does anything as there is no indication that I can see when I press Update.

This information should be on the website where you downloaded this extension.

But its not related to any specific Extension. It's the Extension Manager in LibreOffice which has this Update button which gave this error. So is it not here it should be??
Comment 8 Lifeisgreat 2014-09-29 21:04:08 UTC
BTW...it was the same error in LibreOffice 4.3.2 in the Extension Manager.
Comment 9 Julien Nabet 2014-09-29 21:10:10 UTC
Could you zip the profile which triggers the problem and attach it here by using this link:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=84487&action=enter ?
Comment 10 Jean-Baptiste Faure 2014-09-30 04:50:21 UTC
It seems that this probably too old extension gives LibreOffice an outdated url where to find updating data.

In addition to the suggestions by Julien, please try this:
1/ uninstall this extension / all extension from OfficeOxygen
2/ close and restart LibreOffice
3/ push the Extension Update button

What happens ?
