Description Gary 2014-09-30 03:06:00 UTC
Created attachment 107094 [details]
sub menu buttons affected are circled

To reproduce the issue: Select text in document and click the tool bar arrow to display the submenu for Font Color, Highlighting, or background color.

Problem:
The submenu fails to appear more than 50% of the time and sometimes requires 3 or 4 clicks before the submenu appears.

When the submenu fails to display, the Writer title bar text and buttons turn gray. If you keep clicking, the menu will eventually appear and the title bar text and buttons return to normal appearance.

I have never seen such a bug in LibO under Windows XP and 7.

please give exact detail of your Linux distribution and consider upgrading to a more recent LibO release like 4.2.6.3 or 4.3.2.2

the 3.5.7.2 version you are reporting the bug with is obsolete (released in October 2012) and no longer supported.

I set status to NEEDINFO.
revert it to UNCONFIRMED if you still reproduce the bug after upgrading or RESOLVED WORKSFORME if issue is gone after that.
