Operating System: Ubuntu Version: 4.2.6.3 release
Hi Guillermo, I am not able to reproduce this with 4.3.2.2 - Fedora 21. I simply: 1. opened a writer document with 4 pages 2. inserted an image into each of the pages. 3. saved as an odt file. 4. Closed and reopened and all was good. One image per page with no blanks Let me know if there is anything else I need to be aware of Cheers
My document contains more than 100 pages. It is a large document. I'll check if the version 4.3 fixes the problem. Greetings.
Version 4.3 does not fix the problem. The document must contain text and images, and apparently, the document must be great.
any chance of posting your doc? Obviously if it is sensitive then don't bother. I can always try the lorem ipsum generator.
The document is confidential. I'm sorry. I'll try to generate another document and I will try to reproduce the error. Greetings and thanks.
I created a new document. I was able to reproduce the error. How do I send the file?
The document had added some blank pages and saved it. When I opened it again, the situation was corrected. I selected all the text and changed the line spacing to 1.5 lines. This time, was added a single page. I saved the changes and open the document again, the added blank page still there.
It may influence the fact that the document has been doing long. That is, has edited using several versions of Writer. I have not been able to reproduce the bug permanently by creating a new document in this version of Writer.
Hi Guillermo, thanks for taking the time to recreate this. If you would like to attach the file there is an attachments section above the comments box. Click on the blue link and that will guide you through the process. What kind of document is it (odt, doc, docx)? Interesting that the problem seems to have crept up over the years. I had a few problems when I started using writer which was around the time 3.5 became 4.0! I am afraid I am not skilled enough to advise further on that specific issue :(
@Guillermo: In your comment 6 you wrote you were able to create a new document and reproduce this bug. Could you please provide all the steps you had done and then we can try to reproduce it? Otherwise, it is unfortunately not possible to retrace this bug and then it could also not be resolved by the developers. Thank you very much in advance for your support.
