Description nehoc.merfet 2014-10-03 12:35:35 UTC
In an X-Y chart:
On starting the Format Axis dialog, the Major Interval (non-automatic) is set to an integer (30.4375, the Major Interval I use to approximate months, is reset to 30)

This may be a dup of Bug 79028, which seems to be the same problem: Major Interval set to 1 day when a smaller value is desired.

Could you please give more information about the different steps to reproduce your bug and a more detailed description of the buggy behaviour itself. Thank you very much in advance.

Subject: Re: [Bug 84632] In x-y chart, starting Format Axis dialog converts non-automatic Major Interval value to integer

In an existing X-Y chart:

o Right-click the chart, choose 'edit'
o Click on the X-axis, choose Format Axis
o Click on the Scale tab
o Uncheck box Automatic on 'Major interval'
o Set the Major interval value to a fraction (eg, 10.25)
o Click OK,
o Again click on the X-axis, choose Format Axis
o Lo, the Major interval value has had its fraction removed (eg, it is now 10)

This is my experience (just now)

Thank you very much for your fast reply.

Note: I suppose that in step 2 and 7 you mean Y-axis?

I tested it, but for me it is not reproducible with LO 4.3.2.2 (Win 8.1)? After reopening the FORMAT AXIS dialogue I still have there "10.25".

Was this maybe only a bug in LO 4.2? I have only LO 4.3 on my computer to test it.

I got 4.3.2.2 and the problem is fixed on it.
So this is, as suspected, a dup of bug 79028, and resolved.
