Created attachment 107846 [details] original page and page with image lost LibreOffice version: 4.3.2 LibreOffice language: Chinese (trad.) Operating system version: Microsoft Windows 7 Operating system language: Chinese (trad.) May be related to: https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=46447 Operation: 1. Open a document created from LibreOffice 3.6.2 which has an embedded image. 2. While editing the docement, the embedded image often becomes "unable to display image" in the original rectangular position, but the "anchor" symbol is still on the left hand side of the page. 3. If you open other files with embeds, you see the same problem. 4. If you save your file and open it again, the image is lost. There is not even a "missing link" in the file. I don't know whether there is still a "corrupted" image in the file. 5. Can you check my "orig" and "lost" files? The "orig" file is not very original. It was lost and then pasted back using LibreOffice 3.6.2. Attachments represent the extracted page of the result. Thanks. Qiyao
Hi Daniel, please try disabling autosave. If it's resolved then possibly duplicate to Bug 82953
Dear Ign, I have now setted the autosave period to one minute. Is there an easy way for the autosave bug to happen, e.g. on a small file (e.g. one page). Even the file attached in: https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=82953 does not always gets lost upon autosave. Thanks. Qiyao
Hi again Daniel.. I guess the issue not applied in all conditions, maybe dependent to particular setting or image. Just try disabling the autosave to verify that issue not occured again.
Dear Ign, I used my original large file. The image disappeared after the first autosave. If I disable autosave, then after manual save, the image is still there. Thanks. Qiyao
(In reply to ign_christian from comment #1) > Hi Daniel, please try disabling autosave. If it's resolved then possibly > duplicate to Bug 82953 looks exactly the same issue. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 82953 ***
