I have searched high and low trying to change the default font in writer.  I have wasted far too much time on such a seemingly trivial issue.

Wish you would make this easier to do.  I tried using the help files and still could not do it!

To change the default fonts for all your Writer documents, go to Tools > Option > LibreOffice Writer > Basic Fonts. I'm closing this one as it's not a bug. Sophie
