Screenshot of query form and result, showing that nothing got filtered

Problem description: If you apply a default filter on a column that contains integers, nothing is filtered.

My source is MS Access *.mde, possibly with connection to Oracle database via ODBC.

Current behavior:
if you use = and a number, nothing happens. If you change it LIKE and number, it is filtered correctly (takes a long time however). The condition dropdown contains = three times.

Expected behavior:
= and number should filter the table and show the matching records quickly. The condition dropdown should contain every operator once.

Could you please change the title so everybody could see you are using not the internal HSQLDB-database? I don't know if I understand right: You connect to an Access *.mde-file with a connection to Oracle database to LO-Base?

@Simran : without further information, i,e. on the particular setup you are using, we will not be able to even attempt to reproduce the behaviour you describe.
Comment 3 Alex Thurgood 2014-10-20 15:39:23 UTC
If I set the standard filter to look for a given number using = in an external Firebird database connected via jdbc, the filter works for me.
