LO 4.3.3.1
Windows 7 SP1 64bit

Check attached image or test file. All text orientation is 90 degrees.
Cell A1 = Liberation Sans font 
Cell A1 = Arial font

A1 cell just looks wrong. 2 is thicker then 1, 0 has strange corners etc...

That is how Windows renders it. We cannot do anything about it, except switching to DirectWrite, which would mean dropping support to XP.

New font comes enforced, but it's not LO bug, it's windows bug.
Anyway, that's bold font, if you remove bold, it looks worse.

Not sure how Arial looks ok if it's windows rendering bug.

Fixed or not, I'm killing that font.

This could be a workaround... http://www.freetype.org/ttfautohint/
