Description Matthew Francis 2014-10-22 07:56:29 UTC
Chinese text such as

𠺝, 𠺢, 𠝹, 𡃁, 𤓓

(random characters taken from bug 85109) cannot be copied and pasted into LibreOffice on OSX. These characters are outside the Basic Multilingual Plane (> U+FFFF).

To reproduce:
1. Copy the above text from within the comment
2. Paste into Writer

Expected result:
- The above text

Actual result:
- ?, ?, ?, ?, ?

This does not occur on Linux, and also does not occur with text that is copied from a textbox (such as a bug comment entry textbox), so I can only assume it's something to do with differences in clipboard formats

This has always been the case right back to 3.3.0, so

Version -> Inherited from OOo
