Description Howard 2014-10-30 09:05:36 UTC
When setting up 0.5" tab for paragraph indentations, while in the paragraph editing window under tabs, the set up of this process goes fine. When returning to workflow, it works for a while and then with out warning or notice the tab will switch to 1.5 arbitrarily, with out apparent cause.

Hi Howard, would you please provide detailed steps explaining how to reproduce this issue? Thanks!
Comment 2 tommy27 2014-10-31 19:22:52 UTC
also consider upgrading to 4.2.7 or 4.3.3
Comment 3 A (Andy) 2014-10-31 20:25:32 UTC
For me not reproducible with LO 4.3.3.2 (Win 8.1)

Steps done:
1. Open WRITER
2. Select Format -> PARAGRAPH -> tab INDENTS & SPACING
3. Change indent before text
4. Close dialogue box
5. Do some work
6. Select Format -> PARAGRAPH -> tab INDENTS & SPACING

Result: No change, indent still there.

Therefore, marked as Needinfo. As per Comment 1 please provide more information about this bug.

If you use Format -> Paragraph -> Tabs to set up tabs, please be aware that if you change the paragraph style to something else and then come back to the style with the tabs that they will not be there. Direct/manual formatting applies to successive paragraphs/characters while typing until it is "turned off". Changing styles "turns off" direct formatting.

To keep tabs to your liking, modify an existing style. Modifying a style only changes it for that document.
