With 4.4.0 the sheet tabs have been cleaned from the old angled and rounded sides, which is good :) Now however the contrast with the navigation buttons is odd, not to say ugly. So I would suggest a tiny rounding, just two pix or so. thanks, Cor
And what about improving the navigation buttons instead? I was planning to drop those button’s borders (i.e., the same as toolbar buttons) to make them look lighter.

Still I think that one or two pixels rounding will make it look more attractive, friendly. The contrast with the rest of the interface is also much less. Can you provide a screen shot of what you intend? In Gimp I did a simple change from some pixels of the current lower corners of the tab, but that's something so simple, that I'm hesitant to post here ;)

this is now RESOLVED FIXED thanks to Tomaz current LibO versions have good matching between the navigation buttons and the sheet tabs
