Created attachment 108921 [details] Spreadshet demonstrating poor performance switching to/scrolling chart Attached spreadsheet: switch to sheet 5 (Charts) and scroll the chart off the visible region. Now scroll the chart back into the visible region with the mouse wheel. Note that scrolling the chart into the visible region is quite a bit slower than when the chart is not in the visible region. Also, switching to the page containing the chart is markedly slower than switching to a page not containing a chart. My full-scale spreadsheet has 8 charts on the sheet in question; performance is (at least) correspondingly worse.

Created attachment 113508 [details] Demonstrating poor scrolling performance I don't believe this is related to the large number of data points bug; this one's much simpler. But it may not be entirely chart-related. Scrolling the first tab on the spreadsheet using the mouse wheel is quite slow, and even slower when part of the chart is visible.
As I closed the duplicate report, I wanted to test this to be sure and fortunately there is no poor performance observed when scrolling now.
