Writer ignores settings for printing in duplex mode + page flipping, the printer always prints on single pages instead of doublesided. 1. Create a document with A4 Landscape page format 2. Enter some text, a pagebreaks and another text to get 2 pages 3. Hit Ctrl P for printing 4. and change Prpperties of printer to Duplex and to long edge or short edge 5. Print page 6. Printer only prints single sided HP Officejet is set as standard printer. Duplex tray is shown as installed in CUPS, HPLIP GUI and KDEs systemssettings of printer. System: Linux Debian 7.7 Wheezy Cups 1.5.3-5+deb7u4 ppd: HP Officejet Pro 8100, hpcups 3.14.10 LibreOffice 4.3.4.1 bc356b2f991740509f321d70e4512a6a54c5f243 (german) Other programs work fine with double side printing and page flipping.
Seems to be a regression because it exists in 4.2.x relase, too!
Hi @GwenDragon, thanks for reporting. Please take a look to this threads: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/libreoffice-refuses-to-print-landscape-923543/#post4574311 Comment #7 http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/15938/libre-office-change-printer-language-type-from-pdf-to-postscript
@m.a.riosv Thanks, but your tips are not the solution and dont work with current versions of LO.
There is the same problem with openSUSE 13.1 and 13.2., the same printer, and LO version 4.3.3.2 and former versions. I found the following workaround: You need to use the option <ignore> for "Duplex" within the printer dialogue. Then LO files are printed duplex.

Adding Whiteboard:bibisectRequest to this, although it may be hard to find someone willing to bibisect who has a suitable printer...
Really this is the same problem as bug 60428. I will update the description to make clear that it covers several flavours of OfficeJet *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 60428 ***
