Created attachment 110517 [details] Test file On large spreadsheets, when I want to copy formula to large number of cell, it would be good if scrooling was increasing in speed as I drag cell. Example: Open test file. I just entered number in first 3000 rows of A column. In cell B1 you will find simple formula. Grab cell B1 by bottom right corner and drag it all the way to B3000. Now: Calc in scrooling by constant speed, not too slow, not too fast. Enhancement: Longer you hold it, faster should Calc scrool it, with some maximum speed so it doesn't go speed of light on me. :) This is default behaviour in Excel, that's why I noticed this in Calc when I switched. Excel gets to row 3000 much faster then Calc.
Sounds reasonable. Yet, for now you can simply use "shift-click target cell, Ctrl-D (fill down)", right?
Yes you can. You can also copy cell, SHIFT + click last one, paste. But that's not dragging cell down. Anyway, it's an enhancement to think about if some dev think it's worth it. Most people don't know about CTRL + D. I use excel and calc for 10 years and still didn't develop habbit of using CTRL+D (and I know it exists).
