"Show overwrite warning when pasting data" causes a warning to appear when pasting data from the clipboard into a Libreoffice Calc cell that contains data. So UNCHECKING that checkbox in Preferences for Libreoffice Calc > General should cause NO warning to appear, correct? But I still get a warning dialog after unchecking the preference box and pasting data into an occupied cell. 1. Is this a bug? 2. Is there a way to have no warning appear when pasting data into a cell? thank you, deac
Hi, I can't reproduce using Version: 4.3.4.1 Build ID: bc356b2f991740509f321d70e4512a6a54c5f243 and 4.4.0.1 and Ubuntu 14.10. What is your operating system? Is it the same problem as in bug 87607? I can not reproduce with LO 4.3.4, win7
(In reply to raal from comment #2) > Is it the same problem as in bug 87607? > > I can not reproduce with LO 4.3.4, win7 ------------- Sophie, Thank you for your response. One advisor said “Dialog "Select language used to import" is related to clipboard's content.” which actually makes sense. I copied text from a Chrome browser and pasted into a LibreOffice Calc cell and get that dialog. I always choose “automatic”, is there any way to avoid that dialog? Yes, this 87629 is the same as 87607, the latter was marked closed so I thought I needed a new query. Sorry for any confusion. Is there a way I can disable the “Select language …” dialog when pasting from Chrome into LIbreOffice Calc? Thanks very much for any help, -deac ;-)
@raal, yes, this is the same as bug 87607. @Deac: for the dialog to not popup, either you double click on the cell you want to paste in to edit it, then the dialog won't show up, or you past the content in the formula bar. Closing as duplicate of 87607. Sophie *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 87607 ***
