Using LibreOffice 4.3.5, I just noticed that a couple of preference panes are missing. I went to Menu/LibreOffice/Preferences (Mac version of Tools/Options) and looked for "LibreOffice Writer" in the sidebar on the left. It's missing. How, now, can I access Basic Fonts and change my default font?

I see no missing preferences in LibO 4.3.5.2 under Win8.1 x64
the bug you show must be MacOS specific

have you tried to reset the user profile?

Tested on

Version: 4.3.5.2
Build ID: 3a87456aaa6a95c63eea1c1b3201acedf0751bd5

OSX 10.10.1

1) Start LO
2) Open Writer document
3) Open Preferences
4) Notice the Writer configuration entry is present.

Can not confirm bug.

I take it that you did open a Writer document first ? The configuration options are context sensitive for Writer, Calc, Draw and Impress, meaning that they don't display unless one of those kind of documents is open.

Setting to NOTABUG.

If the problem still shows after opening a Writer document, please reset to UNCONFIRMED

Dashed if that wasn't it. I opened a Writer document, checked Preferences and there it was! Thanks guys. Sorry to trouble you.
