I thought it would be nice if LO had an option to save and load workspaces (which would include basically any customizations in toolbars and menubars, colors, Firefox themes, etc), like what we have in CorelDRAW (it is the only example that comes to my mind now). And then, having this feature, LO could bring, for example, two pre-configured workspaces: (1) the Default workspace (with the large Tango toolbar icons) and (2) a "Compact" workspace, which would feature a workspace configuration oriented towards a larger document area, with a one-row toolbar with small icons (which is how I always configure my LO). This feature could be accessible through a submenu "Workspaces" inside the "Window" menu, like this: ------------------------------------------------- Window > Workspaces > [list of workspaces] [...] ----------------------- Save current workspace Manage workspaces... ------------------------------------------------- (The Manage workspaces command would open a dialog which would allow to load, save, rename and reorder workspaces.) To make clear: the feature request is to allow workspaces to be saved and loaded. The two pre-configured workspaces are only a secondary suggestion. What do you think? (PS.: sorry for my bad English...)
