As per subject.

When I go to Impress with the same clicpboard content, Ctrl+Shft+V neatly shows the dialog Paste Special.

Works fine in 4.3.5.2, so a regression in 4.4.0.x..

I tried to replicate this bug without success. I took the following steps:

1. Copied text from my web browser. 

2. Ctrl+Shift+V in the writer.

The result is a "Paste Special" dialog box indicating the source is Unknown and providing two options: either HTML or unformatted text.

In my case I used the MacOS build of the 4.4.0.0.beta1 version. I am currently downloading the Linux version and will try it there when it's available. In the mean time I thought I'd find out if I got the steps correct. If not, could you please let me know where I went wrong. :) Thanks.

Just a follow up I tried the steps I described on a 4.4.0.0beta1 version on Ubuntu. I still get the 'Paste Special' dialog (using ctrl-shift-v).

Hi Joe,

Thanks for testing.
It works fine for me now (4.4.0.1) so I set as WorksForMe.
(Wondering when it will pop up again... maybe depending on other circumstances too?)
