There had been bug 88959 and bug 45618 discussing the missing 3D slide transitions on Windows. In fact, they are not missing, but just not in the default install set of LibreOffice 4.4. The option "OpenGL transitions for LibreOffice Impress" need to be activate in Optional Features during the install procedure of LibreOffice.

-> Please add 3D slide transitions on Windows into the default install set.

tdf#89135 install OpenGL slide transitions unconditionally on Windows

It will be available in 4.5.0.

The patch should be included in the daily builds available at
http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. More
information about daily builds can be found at:

Affected users are encouraged to test the fix and report feedback.
