test document to demonstrate the bug

Version: Ubuntu 14.04, LO 4.4.0.3

Using write-protected LO writer templates (ott) with formfields of this kind:
Insert > Field > Others > Function > Type: Input field

Opening such a template the input box apears automatically. Using this box for filling in or replacing text in the input fields, writer crashes when clicking the "ok" button of the input box.

Most times writer crashes with the first click on "ok", sometimes the second, third... time, rarely it doesn't crash.

See / try the atached document test.ott

Comment 10 Julien Nabet 2015-02-07 21:45:36 UTC
Steffen: not yet, it's building right now.
Anyway, thank you for the bt!

I'm curious of your result. Please report.
Comment 12 Julien Nabet 2015-02-08 11:32:04 UTC
Following bts, it seems a dup of tdf#82942
If I'm right, it'll be fixed on 4.5.0, 4.4.1 and 4.3.7 versions
Meanwhile, you can test daily builds from this link http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/

If I'm wrong, don't hesitate to reopen this tracker.

yes, you're right. I tested daily build of LO 4.4.1 and there was no problem with formfields. Thanks a lot. When will 4.4.1 officially appear?
Comment 14 Julien Nabet 2015-02-08 15:43:23 UTC
According to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan#4.4_release, end of February or beginning of March.
