Created attachment 113218 [details] Error dialogs An attempt to create a signed PDF file fails. The certificate is valid and is routinely used to sign PDF files (e.g. by JSignPdf or some accounting software). Steps to reproduce: 1) Start Writer, Calc or Impress (a new document is created). 2) Create some content in the document. 3) Open the PDF export dialog (File -> Export as PDF...). 4) At the Digital Signatures tab press the "Select..." button and choose a certificate. 5) Specify the password for the certificate ("Certificate password") and press "Export". 6) Choose the name for the exported PDF file and press "Save". Expected result: The document is exported into a signed PDF file. Current result: Two subsequent error dialogs are displayed (see the attachment) and nothing is exported. These dialogs provide no information about the reason of the failure. Notes: - certificate: sha256RSA, public key RSA 2048b - OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit
I tested it with a recent nightly build (Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 3c6fd5a59b08cec8705a31d17a60204acf6b7173) and still not working. Time stamps have been added but this bug not fixed.
Please, could you test again with current 5.0 beta? Thank you very much for your help. Best regards. JBF
No repro with version 5.1.1.3, I can export PDF file with certificate. Please check with actual version: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ Thank you
As of 5.2.0/5.2.1 it works well. Probably fixed, thanks. This report may be closed.
