In 2011 the fonction "footnotes/endnotes in two columns" was discussed at :
http://en.libreofficeforum.org/node/1158
The new fonciton has been desired. It would be wonderful that this becomes libreoffice new feature.

For Endnote, we can simply change the page style.
But for footnote we have not solution.
I try to do it with frames, but when the text becomes very big, it's very difficult to do it

Please can you have this function?
It's very important where you have a text with lot of small notes
