Description Lyuben Blagoev 2015-02-09 16:01:17 UTC
I'm using LibreOffice Calc version 4.4.0.3 on Arch Linux. The worksheet navigation buttons (the buttons on the left of the worksheets tabs) are not working. I suppose that the expected behaviour is (from leftmost button to the right): go to the first worksheet, one sheet left, one sheet right and switch to the last worksheet, but when I click any of these buttons nothing happens.

Reproducible with LO 4.4.0.3, Win 8.1.

With a right mouse click on the arrows one can change between the different sheets and this works as exptected. But the arrows does not work.

Hi @Lyuben, @Andy.

I think it works properly. Yes nothing is selected, their function it's only makes visible the tabs, so it can be selected. No differences with precedent versions. IMO if the tab was selected, would be near to impossible work with it.

Resolved as not a bug, please if you are not agree, reopen it.

Oh, it's just something like a scroolbar, actually it scrolls a long list of tabs but don't switch between open tabs. Why you can use the context menu to switch between opened worksheets but use the arrows only to scroll the tab list... it's quite strange and unuseful unless you open a spreadsheet that contains lots of sheets.

Actually Excel uses the same behavior for the arrow buttons. I've probably never used them instead in a large workbook. I agree with the resolved not a bug status.
