Also noticed a weird behaviour that if i scroll down through the pages and then scroll back to the first page, the penguin image on the page disappears and another image will appear in its place and alt+tabbing wont rectify this issue until repagination is complete. Saw this on Windows and Linux as well.
For me not reproducible with LO 4.4.0.3, Win 8.1
