LibreOffice ask to recover files when Linux has a hard reset.
Observations are below:

Step #1:
Close all LibreOffice apps.
Step#2:
Dp hard reset on Linux.

Step #3:
On startup after hard reset,
LibreOffice ask to recover files.
This cause major problem when you acccident click OK,
and you loose all your modifiations.
This happened more than one time.

LibreOffice asking to recover files means that these files were opened in LibreOffice when LibreOffice crashed.

Best regards. JBF

Assuming that "hard reset" means using the power button rather than a clean shutdown, it seems more likely that the previously open document / lock files, etc. weren't committed to disk before the reset. There's nothing LibreOffice can do about that.
