Created attachment 113528 [details] Screenshots of bug Steps to duplicate the bug: 1) Open LO. 2) Create Writer template as in screenshots attached. 3) First, create an input field. Add a few spaces for shading. 4) Write a short text passage. 5) Enter an input list, with several items. 6) Save as .ott (template). 7) Open template. 8) In the input field, enter enough text to exceed the number of characters between the input field and the input list. 9) Click on "Next". 10) Gape in dismay at the results. Summary: This is a deal-killer. It does not exist in LO 4.28, but that version is too buggy to use.

Created attachment 113534 [details] Screenshot 6 At first I though I must have embedded a field in another. As stated, this bug exists in LO Writer 4.4 (Win8.1 64bit and Win7 x86), and LO Writer 4.3.5.2 (Win7 x86). It does NOT exist in OpenOffice.org 4.1.1, nor in LO Writer 4.28.
It is difficult to believe this bug is unique to me, given that I have duplicated it on different OSes with different hardware, and with different versions of LO Writer. It is also difficult to believe these versions of Writer can be used in mission-critical environments with this bug present.

Please don't prioritize your own bugs, this is not prioritized correctly. Setting to default.
