Steps: 1) Open Writer 2) Type some text 3) Set it as Heading 3 4) Open style drop down and notice 'Heading 4' isnt there. Expected behaviour: If i continue to use headings, the following heading should be activated in the drop down or else i would need to go into styles and formatting to Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 4cf69df2f543b023f4ec3d4279c5ac11a2a819d9 TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86@45-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2015-02-21_03:46:34
Reproducible with LO 4.4.0.3, Win 8.1 This would be a good improvement.
After each Heading (Heading 1, Heading 2) the style that folows is "Text body". It's very easy to change that with just 2 clicks: Modify Heading 3 and change "Text body" to "Heading 4". So, is this a bug?...
(In reply to BogdanB from comment #2) > So, is this a bug?... Bogdan, this bug report is for the Set Paragraph Style combobox in the Formatting toolbar. Clicking at the triangle, the preview list shows a short list of paragraph styles including Heading 1, Heading 2 and Heading 3. The issue is: When user selects Heading 3 for a paragraph and opens this style preview after that, it would be helpful if Heading 4 would be shown additionally. Because it's possible that the user needs a fourth heading level when using the third. Ok, Thanks Thomas. I misundertood the bug report.
Updated the summary and removed UX input.
