Description Chris Cameron 2015-02-24 21:23:34 UTC
* Go File -> Save
* In the "Save" dialog box, right click -> "New Folder"
* Try to rename folder from the default "untitled". You can't.

If you click the "New Folder" button (as opposed to right clicking), you get a window asking you what you'd like the folder to be named, but right clicking seems to bypass that step. Ideally you could rename any folder you wish from this dialog box, but the next best option would be to have right-click -> New Folder perform the same action as clicking the button "New Folder".

For me not reproducible with LO 4.4.0.3, Win 8.1. Therefore, probably a Mac only issue.
Comment 2 Alex Thurgood 2015-02-25 14:49:08 UTC
@Chris : where do you right click in the Save dialog. It doesn't seem to matter where I right mouse button click in this dialog, I never see a "New folder" context menu entry.

Setting to NEEDINFO, please set back to UNCONFIRMED when requested information has been provided.

You can't see the pointer, but you can see where I right clicked. Right under the "Public" folders

This appears to be an OS X quirk:

So it's probably too much to expect the fix from anyone but Apple.

Per comment 4, setting to notourbug, this is an Apple "feature", or lack thereof.
