Description Yousuf Philips (jay) (retired) 2015-03-01 00:08:31 UTC
Steps:
1) Open Impress
2) Click in the 'Click to add text' textbox
3) Insert an audio or video file
4) It will position the video at the location and size of the 'Click to add title' textbox

This is a regression as this doesnt happen in 4.4 daily.

I tried with an audio file and it looks the same in 4.4.1 and 4.5. It just goes to the center.
To be sure, tried separately clicking the text box frame before inserting and clicking inside the text box before inserting.

Can you show a screenshot?

I can't make that happen in 4.5. Tried also with video file.

Also couldn't reproduce this from the 4.5 dbgutil bibisect tree on 64-bit Linux, either currently or around the Feb 21 build. Linux-x86 specific, or specific to a particular filetype?

Still happens for me now on Mint 13.

Tested the above master built Xubuntu and it didnt happen, but testing on Linux Mint 17.1 XFCE 64-bit with master 2015-03-17 TDF@46 it does. So it seems like its limited to Linux Mint.

Just to clarify, it was Xubuntu 14.04 32-bit.

For me also not reproducible with LO 5.1.0.1, Win 8.1.

Jay, do you also still have it with the latest released LO versions?
Comment 8 Yousuf Philips (jay) (retired) 2015-12-29 08:08:27 UTC
No longer happening on 5.1 daily.
