As a user with Windows 7 administrative privileges, I uninstalled an earlier version of LO and installed LO-4.4.1.2. When I installed LO-4.4.1.2, I had checked which dictionaries were installed, and various English, French and Spanish dictionaries were selected. For one non-admin user, the Writer spell checker works fine. However, for another non-admin user, the spell checker does not work. I've googled around and searched on ask.libreoffice.org and also here, tried a few things such as wiping AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice for both non-admin users, but without success. I've tried to discover what the differences are between the 2 non-admin users. In both cases: - Tools > Automatic Spell Checking (S-F7) is enabled - Tools > Language > For Selection... is "English (UK)" - Tools > Language > For Paragraph... has nothing set - Tools > Language > For all Text... has nothing set I've tried playing around with these settings, but, try as I might, I cannot set anything for "For Paragraph" or "For all Text" for either non-admin user. I presume these are set correctly. The only difference I have found, is that for the user with a working spell checker, when I do "Spelling and Grammar (F7)", the Text Language is a drop-down list of various English, French and Spanish dictionaries as I would expect. However, for the user with a non-working spell checker, the Text Language drop-down menu is greyed out and inoperable. This difference is not apparent when I do Tools > Options > Language Settings > Languages. For both users, the "Default Languages for Documents" Western menu is a drop-down list of various English, French and Spanish dictionaries. So, the bug _appears_ to be that not all users have visibility of the installed dictionaries within Writer, even though they have visibility within the Options settings. I've attached snippets of "Spelling and Grammar (F7)" and "Language Settings" popups for both non-admin users. Please let me know how I can help with this bug.

I tested by adding a new normal user. When I logged in with it, spellcheck did not work. Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Version: 4.4.3.1 Build ID: b2f347f2ac68821efc00b6f1793cda90af748118 Locale: fi_FI
