Comparison of PowerPoint file opened in LO4.3 vs LO 4.5

LibreOffice 4.5 is now incorrectly setting the textbox background color when it opens PPTX files. Version 4.3.1.2 imported them correctly. It's not just a viewing error. If I save the file and open in PowerPoint, the errors remain.

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated 2 days ago (468677c9f5fbdb91f0817674d1c7765e971e4df1), I don't reproduce this.

Could you give the precise LO version, ie commit, you used for the test?
Also, on which platform do you test? (Windows, Linux, MacOs)

Julien,
Thanks for looking into this. I'm using a newer build on Windows 7.

Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: 7f3628e54d4470cac6d51659d1b1bec5fb4f4e70
TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2015-03-13_23:51:42
Comment 4 Julien Nabet 2015-03-15 20:42:58 UTC
I'll rebuild tomorrow, then either I don't reproduce this and it's perhaps a Windows only LO bug or it's a regression. In this last case, we might have only 2 days of commits to find the root cause :-)

Unconfirmed with v4.3.5.2 under ubuntu 14.04 x64.
Confirmed with v4.3.6.2 under mint 17.1 x64.
Confirmed with v4.3.6.2 under windows 7 x64.

Looks like a regression.
Fixed in the 4.5 branch, but not backported ???
Comment 6 Luke 2015-03-21 05:24:36 UTC
MM,
I do not think this was fixed in 4.5. I'm seeing this under both Linux and Windows with the most recent builds.

The behaviour changed as of the below commit.
