Hi all. I submit in an unspecified version of LibOffice because I don't see the version I'm presently using, ie 4.4.2.1, in the list of versions. Anyway, this version ie 4.4.2.1 but NOT in version 4.4.1.2 (for example) .png images are not shown, both those inserted in documents prepared with old versions versions of LibO (for example (ie 4.4.1.2) or in documents created from scratch in LibreOffice Writer. My OS is Windows 7 64bits and I tested only .odt documents. How to reproduce. 1. Have a .png image (named, for example, vanilla.png) 2. Create a new Writer .odt document with LibO 4.4.2.1 3. Try to insert vanilla.png image inside this new .odt document. 4. In the document an area for the image is allocate, but the image is not shown. OR: 1. Open an old document created with LibO 4.4.1.2 (or lower) which contains one or more .png images inside. 2. Only the area where they were set is shown, not the image(s) itself/themselves. Not tested with ther kind of images (for example jpg) Leopoldo Saggin aka Topoldo
Hi Leopoldo, thanks for reporting. I can't reproduce with 4.4.2.1. Are you sure: Menu/Tools/LibreOffice Writer/View/Display - Graphics and objects is enable?.
Oh! You were right! But I'm sure I did not changed anything in the transition of versions. So is it a new option (don't think) or the default value was changed? Anyway, for me, this "bug" could be closed. Sorry for the inconvenience! Leopoldo Saggin aka Topoldo
Thanks for the information Leopoldo.
