.odp file with table merge cells

Steps to reproduce this issue:
1. Create a presentation file on latest master
2. Insert a table
3. Merge some of the table cells
4. Save file as .pptx file
5. Open saved file on LO again

OR
1. Open .odp attached file on latest master and save it as .pptx file.

OR
1. Open attached .pptx file on latest master and save it as .pptx again

Current behaviour:
1. If opened saved file on LO again, merged cells are not preserved

Expected behaviour:
1. Table merged cells should retain their property

I can confirm with LO 4.4.1.2, win7
Comment 3 Matthew Francis 2015-03-28 08:35:02 UTC
This is reproducible back to at least 3.6.
Before 3.6, round tripping such a table through PPTX either results in the table being missing upon reload or crashing on reload. I can't find a version that does anything better than the current behaviour.

So not a regression - this has probably just never worked since LO introduced PPTX as a feature back in 3.3.0 (OOo / AOO has never supported it)
Comment 4 Sujith 2015-04-13 17:21:45 UTC
Raised the CL for supporting export of table merged cell:

Comment 5 A (Andy) 2015-04-17 20:57:57 UTC
Reproducible with LO 4.4.1.2, Win 8.1
