Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new presentation
2. Add an animation to slide
3. Go to Slide show > Slide show settings
4. Uncheck Enable animations
5. Run the slide show


Current behavior:

The slide is displayed and the animation plays

Expected behavior:

The slide is displayed without the animation

Environment : 
              
Operating System: Windows 8.1
LibreOffice: 4.4.1.2 / French

Reproducible with LO 4.4.1.2, Win 8.1 (Note to Step 4: "Animations allowed")

But I don't think this is a bug, because if one opens the LO help it says: "Displays all frames of animated GIF files during the slide show. If this option is not selected, only the first frame of an animated GIF file is displayed.".
Therefore, from my point of view it only relates to animated GIFs, but no to animations per se.

ok, I must have been confused by the wording used (cf Autoriser les animations / Animations allowed).
